Get a birdseye view of the entire North Tarrant Express project, which encompasses NTE TEXpress Lanes on Northeast Loop 820, SH-121/183 Airport Freeway and NTE 35W TEXpress Lanes on I-35W from downtown Fort Worth to north of US 287. Because they were designed for commuters interested in getting from one end of the corridor to the other end as quickly as possible, there are a limited number of entrance ramps (in green) and exit ramps (in orange). Some of the ramps are located on the general highway lanes, while others such as US 377/Denton Highway and Industrial Boulevard can only be accessed from the frontage roads.
In addition, the NTE & NTE 35W TEXpess Lanes are comprised of four separate tolling segments.
Once you enter the NTE & NTE 35W TEXpress Lanes, you will see pricing signs well in advance of the next tolling segment to help you decide whether to continue your trip or exit the lanes. For instance, if you enter the eastbound I-820 TEXpress Lanes at Iron Horse Boulevard and exit them at SH-121 North, you will incur charges for two tolling segments.
